Awesome Foursome Martini Contest!

The heroines of my 4-book series call themselves the Awesome Foursome. They’re four twenty-something friends who laugh, cry, bond — and find their own very sexy romances! A couple of months ago they got their very own logo, and now it’s time they found that very special martini deserving of the title, “The Awesome Foursome Martini.”

The winner will get a Touch Me gift basket containing an autographed advance reading copy of Touch Me (Ann’s book, the 3rd in the series, coming out in September), chocolates, massage lotion, bath goodies, scented candles and a deck of “52 Weeks of Romance” cards. Two runners-up will also receive an autographed advance reading copy of Touch Me. (And I’ll post the winning recipes on my website, so we can all enjoy them!)

As for how the contest will be judged… Well, the Foursome has delegated me to do their taste-testing (tough life being a writer!), and I’ll rope in a bunch of my own friends to help me out (and a tough life being a friend of a writer!) — and find a cooperative (not to mention hot) bartender to do the mixing for us. Mmm, I can’t wait!

Interview and some Q & A

I’ll be hanging around through the day to answer some reader questions. On Thursday morning Amy and I will choose a random winner with a great question for a book give away. The winner will receive my series launch title: Midnight Confessions The second in the series was a June release. (MC II)

In August, the ghost stories continue when Belle, the ghost madam of Perdition House, meddles with Jake McKay a carpenter/contractor in my novella Rock Solid in the BUILT anthology. Belle just can’t give up messing with the living.

BUILT is affectionately thought of as men in tool belts. And don’t we love ‘em!

THE SUPPLICANT Gets 4 Stars from RT!

Hi Group:

In this morning’s mail I found my copy of RT Book Reviews, and in it was a review of THE SUPPLICANT, by August release. Kristi Ahlers gave it four stars! Yey! Noelle Mack, Kate Douglas, and an anthology with Sunny, Jami Alden and Valerie Martinez also fared very well. Kensington must be very pleased with us today!

Betts once again brings to life her incredible imaingination and blends it together with a fantastical make-believe world and interesting and dynamic characters. Sureya and Kalief are strong in their own ways, and yet they complement each other. Sureya’s awakening to her sensual self makes this an explicit read. Fans of the fantasy/erotic genre will be very pleased with this offering.

Summary: Sureya is a humble servant girl and nanny to a family she loves. But when the second sun appears in the sky this young girl’s life is going to change in ways she never imagined. It is up to her, as the Supplicant, to save a kingdom and its ruler. To gain her power, she must enter the world of physical pleasure, and the only man who can satisfy her is King Kalief. Together they reach the heights of pleasure, while facing untold danger.
