Hows the writing going these days? My favorite part of Mad Men is always whatever ad campaigns their working on and the whole ad business. Don’s home life took a dark turn last season and I’m hoping it’s a little lighter this season.

I’m an America’s Got Talent fan, too. Whoo hoo! Where else can you see: jugglers, magicians, singers, dancers, impressionists and dominatrix yodelers all in one show? Huh? Where, I ask you?

As for dramas, my dh and I have picked up most seasons of The Wire on DVD and we’re hooked.

Mad Men makes me think of the ugly days when women in the workplace were seen as sexual conveniences and I find it insulting. I’m probably the only one who does, though. M’eh…I don’t like blonde jokes either b/c they’re mostly misogynistic.

And wow…don’t know how this went from hilarity on AGT to misogynism, but there you go. Summer TV can do that, I guess.

For anyone who saw HUNG on HBO tonight, what did you think? I liked it!

I also saw that Torchwood will premier July 20th on BBC America. I enjoyed the shows I saw and this miniseries looks promising.

Hi Jane,
I didn’t see much of True Blood. I’m wondering if we’d need to start at the beginning or if we could just pick up in this season. I hope Mad Men continues to be good. I’m a little worried about that one. I love all the stuff that happens at work with Don’s clients, so I hope they keep showing that. I don’t know anything about Warehouse either. I have a feeling I’ll be DVRing that one for sure.

Haven’t watched “True Blood” yet. I am super excited about the new season of “Mad Men.” I can’t wait to find out about Betty and her pregnancy. “Warehouse 17″ sounds intriguing, but I haven’t heard anything about the show.
