    definitely, Claudia, though I think the neighbors are convinced I’m nuts. One asked my husband if he kept me handcuffed to my computer! Hey Paula! See you in a little over a week–and I’m not telling what Anton said, though he did offer Igmutaka a cup of coffee, since he showed up in time for breakfast…Anton is ALWAYS a good host… Hi Sara–well, it’ll be as rip-roaring as it can be sitting in my recliner with my laptop in my lap…thanks! Thank you, La Wanda. I’ve repeatedly asked for “characters of color,” but I get what they give me. I did get an AA model for WTIV, which was great, since it was Tinker’s story. I figure it never hurts to keep asking…and asking…and asking! My heroine in the second book of the Demon Slayers series, HellFire, is black, but I think those covers are just going to show the men. Will have to wait and see. So glad to hear you’re enjoying WTVIII. Thank you! Thank you, Larena. And Yari, what’s fun is that they all recognize him when he shows up because he’s still got his cougar personality. I’m having fun with this guy. He was a wonderful surprise when he showed up. Tamara, I can tell you one interesting thing–Igmutaka is a spirit guide, but he’s not Chanku. He’s never had a human form, so he’s still learning what to do with it. Ana, I loved Matt so much after writing WTVIII that he got his own story in Chanku Spirit, in Sexy Beast VIII. It comes out next spring. thank you! thanks, Kathy. I haven’t gotten my book club order yet, either. I always order my newest so I have it in hardcover! I got a great ad, t hough, in this month’s Rhapsody Book Club catalog–my whole series on a page and a half. It’s VERY cool! Good idea, Eli. With the economy so bad, bookstores aren’t ordering nearly as many copies as they used to, so the stock disappears fast. My last book, Sexy Beast VI, ended up going into a second print run just a month after release, but I think it’s because the publisher didn’t print as many on the original run.     I use my Pocket PC to read books on yet yours is a series that I buy in paperback as well. There’s just something so eye catching about seeing all of your books on the shelf ready to read or re-read if I need a Wolf Fix. Sure wouldn’t mind curling up with one of them, myself… Book or wolf I’ve had my kitchen and master bathroom remodeled and this weekend is mostly washing and putting everything away. I’m pooped!!     Happy 4th!! And I have to say that I love the cover for “9″. I think it is my fav one yet. I actually like that they switched to arabic numbers, no doubt it will be less confusing for some readers, but I think it puts less meaning on the roman numerals and focuses more on the cover model…I mean models I don’t have any tats myself, but I absolutley loooove them on men.     Good morning, Jan. Do hope you had a wonderful 4th, but it sounds like a great one–lots of food and beautiful Hawaii? It doesn’t get any better! I never pictured Igmutaka in human form–I knew he started out as a wild cougar before becoming a spirit guide, so his manifestation as a sexy man came out of the blue. So far, Adam’s the one who’s taken him in hand, so to speak…Igmutaka is a quick learner, but he is NOT Chanku, so there’s a bit of adjusting for him… Thanks, Carol. I think I’ve found my perfect career, if you want the truth! Terri, I’m writing a lot of Igmutaka’s story now, but have a feeling he’ll show up in the next book. And I’m actually planning to write all day today, but I can’t imagine doing anything else I’d enjoy more, unless it’s sitting down to read.      Thank you Michelle–it really makes me feel good to hear from readers who actually think I’m getting it right! I do try…and I love having a multi-ethnic group because they’re really all the same under the skin–they are all Chanku, which creates a stronger bond than anything else. Not selfish at all, Melissa, and last night my husband and I did get out and walk around the block, and we stopped by the neighbors’ and said hi to everyone at the party, which was about all I could take before I had to get back and see what my characters were up to!
